Bernice studied visual arts and design at the Ontario College of Art. She obtained her degree in Advertising Art and Graphic Design from Humber College in Toronto and worked for 11 years in graphics and forms design. Working at JDS Uniphase in Ottawa, she assisted in designing and implementing new systems and procedures for quality control. She also has experience in coordinating public speaking competitions at Ottawa University, designing signage for the Canadian Tulip Festival and organizing a diabetes project with Health Canada.
While working with the Canadian Homecare Association, Bernice discovered her interest in healthcare. She joined the Real You Program in June of 2011, assisting with managing the first pilot project and has found her home.
Bernice enjoys working with the program, team, and participants, knowing that a great future is in store for the Real You Program.
